Just joined this sight. I bought Home before dark, at midnight when it came out. Pretty Amazing Grace was what I needed. Love that song. Had to watch the video to try and figure the chords, took me a couple of days but I succeeded. Now I am working on Whose hands are these? Another great song. any help out there?

I have been a fan of yours, like millions, since I was a little girl, but only recently have I began to really understand at the age of 41 what Grace really is and the One who gives it to us all, when we dont deserve it.....thank you for singing songs like this - God inspired - and I know there are millions that may begin to know the true meaning of Grace and God and how to know him and to understand the Grace he gives to us all. I can rember my cousin showing me a Neil Diamond album and saying you'll like him. I played the album and I was hooked. I have bought alot of albums,now CD's. I have stood in many a line for tickeys to so many concerts. Converted my husband into a Neil Diamond fan. Hela many candles/lighters at the concerts, sang along at concerts and songs on records. I listen to other singers but Neil is the one I listen to when my moods are happy sad and inbetween. It's Christime now in Michigan and as I'm listening to Neil's number 2 Christmas album as I type. Home Before Dark is a very special CD at this time in all of our lives. Neil thank you for making it, it made me sing to it cry and smile. May Gog Bless You and Yours. You have been a blessing to us. MSTROUBLE
Thank you much Neil, it's just like you wrote this song for me and my dilemma of suffering a cerebral hemorrhaged stroke in September. I suffered greatly, and they had to drill holes in my head to release the blood around my brain. All my stress caused this stroke. This song really relates to why God and his helpers (doctors & nurses) saved my life! I was told that it was a miracle for me to be alive. I wondered why, did God save me, what is my purpose here yet? I really dont know, maybe for my kids or my parents sake. I am still trying to search the answer. With your new amazing song, it may help me to understand. I know that I may not live long, with another stroke to happen in the near future, but I am trying my best to keep in control and relax. I only wish that I could see you live, and singing that meaningful song for me! That would be a great dream and wish of mine. If only I could! God would have fullfilled my every dream! I have enjoyed every song you ever sang since I was a kid, and I have never forgotten you, you are a beautiful person who keeps us together! God made a great wonderful person! I would like to know if Neil has had an amazing spiritual encounter with the G-d of Israel. Sounds like he knows quite abit about Adonai's love, and mercy, shown thru his pretty amazing grace.....I would like to hear more of these Spirit inspired songs Neil, that is where your real talent is, just like when you were a cantor, but this is G-d's calling to you. The first time I heard this song, I knew your spirit had been awakened, by His grace. See you Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, I can't wait.....pretty amazing talent...Charleygirl with a heart for the Lord.
